The Kernville  Chamber of Commerce would like to take the opportunity to thank the Abate Club of the Kern Valley and Cheyenne’s Stage Stop Restaurant for their generous donation of $1335 to the chamber to be used to construct a permanent “Mel’s Watering Hole” at the John E. McNally Rodeo Grounds.

The funds raised will be used to buy material to construct a western style booth to sell liquid refreshment during events held at the Kernville Rodeo grounds.  The  Abate Club has also offered some of their membership to help in the construction.

This is truly the way working and partnering together helps to build a stronger community.

Thank you again, Cheyenne’s Stage Stop Restaurant and Abate of the Kern Valley for your generous support from the Kernville Chamber of Commerce.

Cheryl Borthick, President
